Vitamin B12

BASF is among the leading producers and suppliers of fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins. Vitamin B12 is part of our premium vitamin product range. This water-soluble vitamin has been well-known for decades in applications in the dietary supplement, food, functional nutrition and beverage markets.

Some lifestyle groups, such as vegans and vegetarians, are at higher risk of vitamin B12 deficiency due to a lack of vitamin B12 in their diets. Thus, supplementation for better general health can be recommended for these lifestyle groups.
