Given the variations in vitamin B5 content and its accessibility from plant-based feeds, animal nutritionists and farmers must consider incorporating additives or vitamin blends enriched with pantothenic acid into feed to meet requirements for optimal livestock growth, development, and overall performance.

How does the application of vitamin B5 work?

Calcium D-pantothenate is highly stable and resistant to the effects of atmospheric oxygen and light. Substantially stable during thermal processing, depending on temperature.

Vitamin B5 occurs in a biologically highly active form. The product should be processed with all due care and attention to occupational hygiene following the instructions in the safety data sheet.
