BASF has expanded the production of ammonium chloride at its Ludwigshafen site, increasing capacity by 50% and improving product quality. Following the successful start-up of the plant, a more efficient production process is now being used to meet the growing demand for high-quality ammonium chloride.

HANOVER, Germany, November 7, 2024 – Eurofins Agro Testing and trinamiX GmbH present a strategic collaboration at EuroTier 2024, the world leading international trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management.

As a result of a fire that occurred in a BASF plant in Ludwigshafen, Germany on July 29, 2024, BASF SE - also on behalf of its affected affiliates - declares Force Majeure on deliveries of selected vitamin A, vitamin E, and carotenoid products as well as selected aroma ingredients, with immediate effect and until further notice. The selected aroma ingredients are Ionones, Pyranol, DL-Menthol, Rose Oxides, Ethyllinalool, Nerolidol, and Isophytol R. BASF is in close contact with customers to share updates and the developments regarding the supply capability of the affected products.

LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany, Wageningen, Netherlands, June 26, 2024 – Eurofins Agro Testing Wageningen, a renowned laboratory specializing in forage, feed, soil, water, manure and compost analysis has announced an international collaboration with trinamiX to optimize forage analyses without the need to send samples to a laboratory. 

April 9, 2024 –Antwerp, Belgium / Ludwigshafen, Germany – Intraco Ltd, a leading exporter of premixes and concentrates from Belgium and part of Group DC, and trinamiX GmbH, a leading provider of mobile spectroscopy solutions and subsidiary of BASF, announce today their collaboration for mobile feed analysis. The aim of this partnership is to give Intraco and its distribution partners the opportunity to analyze the nutrient composition of feed with trinamiX Mobile NIR Spectroscopy Solution - a robust, handheld spectrometer, which comes together with a mobile app and customer portal. This solution enables the feed advisors of Intraco’s distributors to assess raw materials and final feed in real time and advise local farmers to ensure that livestock is fed nutritionally balanced and cost-effectively.
