Yoghurt is manufactured with a fermentation process, which gives yoghurt its typical, sour taste and name – the word comes from the Turkish word yoğurt, which means “fermented milk”.
We support dairy producers with a wide range of health ingredients used for fortification and improvement of dairy product nutritional profiles. Our Vegapure® plant sterols contribute to cholesterol management: 2–3g phytosterols per day has been shown to be the most effective and safe dose. Furthermore, we offer a wide range omega-3 fatty acids. Dry n-3® powder and omega-3 oil enrich the nutritional profile of yoghurt, completed by our vitamin range including vitamin A, B, D, E and K. With our carotenoids (e.g. apocarotenal or Lucarotin®) dairy producers can color their yogurts from yellow to orange to orange-red.
