Contaminated feed is the main source of salmonella infections in animal production (swine, poultry).

Salmonella infections result in reduced feed conversion and increased mortality. Amasil® is a formic acid that effectively preserves compound feed by its acidifying properties. It also has pronounced hygiene condition enhancement properties and is a powerful tool against pathogens such as salmonella and E. coli. As buffered product, Amasil® NA is easy to handle and less corrosive.
