Riboflavin High Flow 100 is suitable for use in all solid and liquid dosage forms such as tablets, hard-shell capsules, effervescent and other instant formulas. Its superior dissolution properties make it optimal for direct compression of high-dosage vitamin B complex tablets. It is ideal for use in multivitamin formulations and equally suitable for low-concentration solutions and fine powder grade. In addition, it can be used as a colorant in liquid form and powder preparations, which must be dissolved in water prior to use.
Riboflavin High Flow 100 is also recommended for the fortification of various food and beverage products, such as multivitamin juices, baby food and instant-drink powders. It is also suitable for use as a colorant in liquid food products
Riboflavin FP is the most efficient colorant for powdered and solid food applications and must be dissolved in water or milk prior to consumption. Riboflavin Fine Powder gives your food and beverage products the brightest yellow to orange-yellow color.
Riboflavin is approved for use as a food colorant and as a vitamin B2 source in most countries. According to the classification of NATCOL (Natural Food Colours Association) Riboflavin by fermentation (E 101 (i)) can be labeled as “natural origin colour” or “natural colour” for a conceptual option for voluntary marketing claims. However, specific regulations in the respective countries and for the intended use have to be observed.

Vitamin B2, along with other B-complex vitamins, is important for metabolism, where it is a co-factor of enzymes involved in the metabolism and catabolism of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and purines. In addition, vitamin B2 is required for the generation of energy. Vitamin B2 is also involved in the metabolism of other B-vitamins, in the production of hormones in the adrenal cortex, and in the body’s antioxidant defense system, where it is a co-factor of the glutathionreductase enzyme.
